11 things my children do [that bring me joy]:
1. pound on the table with forks and knives yelling "BRING ME FOOD!" actually, i don't think they've ever done that and if they did, i probably would have laughed and called it quits pretty quick. having orders yelled at me and/or any yelling inside, not my favorite thing in the whole wide world.
[for real this time]
1. empty the dishwasher for me so after dinner so i can load it up quick. 2. say random "i love you's" to me, or each other. 3. make up after arguing by singing the "hello neighbor song," reconciling without any help from parents. 4. the invite to their special sister meetings which convene in bed most mornings. 5. talk my ear off about their day exploring during our drive home after their nature study class. 6. thank me for making them meals and snacks. 7. requests to snuggle and hug. 8. legs wrapping around mine at bed time. 9. sneaking into my bedroom late at night seeking advice on how to maneuver through friendships. 10. listening to them laugh together. 11. from the window, watching them explore together in the dried up pond [read: big huge puddle of mud, newts and slime].
of course! not limited to...
From my experience, your daughters bring everyone joy. :D
