good morning!

i can't help but love this.

the bandanna is staying out this summer.

the girls and i were watching project runway, an old season, & one of the contestants said, "42 years old & 5 kids is a slippery slope to mini van & sweatpants" i laugh every time they replay her saying that comment...i've totally slipped. maybe it's because i only have three children instead of five, but i've slipped down a different slope, the slippery slope of yoga pants & puffer vest (our mini van died, so we drive a volvo). anyway, looking at these women doing farm chores is inspiring...they did not slip down any fashion slippery slope. so i'm going to keep the bandanna out, poised, while working my little homestead. (in my yoga pants & puffer vest, maybe on a really cold day i'll throw on one of my hand made knit sweaters) it's all about striking balance you know.
