sunday's are proving to be menu planning day. though this vegetarian for years gone carnivore isn't the best at salvaging meat off the bones, i can make a pretty good broth for soups. our slow cooker is quickly becoming my best friend for days we are away from home and i'm sure will be hands down BFF as the weather cools off (sans unexpected power outages)!
a few favorite meal planning sources:
this week the slow cooker will prepare for us some pollo verde & kabocha squash soup.
last week we were graced with ratatouille (which was deemed pizza in a bowl, who doesn't love pizza? so that was a win) & a yummy hodge podge taco soup (also, success!)
what's happening in your kitchen?
Why is it for me it's all about treats...not that treats are bad BUT! So I have made my first batch of gluten free pumpkin donuts and plan to make more this week. They really were very good and since they are baked in a donut pan they are more healthy that the fried alternative my Momma always made!(they were very good as well)
