confession: i was starting to get a little annoyed waiting for the mister to move on from this puddle that he was found to the be perfect photo op. i wasn't paying attention to what he was shooting or how. i was looking at the huge group (flock?) of gulls sitting on the cliff right behind us thinking 'we have got to get outta here! as soon as they get startled they will fly overhead and poop all over us good thing i at least have my sunhat on but i'm always the target ever since i laughed when the pelican pooped on my moms head out at alcatraz that one time when i was 10.' "family, let's keep moving!"
but we kept standing there waiting because he was taking pictures.
little did i know how thankful i would be for the photos he took yesterday. he has a great eye and the more he's in practice the more i see incredible, mindful composition that speaks his heart and really shows his view. heart, mind, eye.
together we capture our days more fully. he & i so different yet complimenting.
just like in most aspects of our beings.
what started out in me as annoyance quickly turned gratitude when standing at the end on the tracks watching them balance away.
this is my view, that was his, together it's complete & balanced.
