though i didn't realize home would be such my comfort this past week, it indeed has been. traipsing around the tenderloin of san fran to running errands in santa cruz. home is where my heart was and home was my comfort carried along. heart breaking for the homeless i wished for them home. home i nurtured, tidied, sank into and loved. in home i pondered, praised & played. though it was an external comfort, as Maya Angelou said, this too is my desire,
"I long, as does every human being, to be at home wherever I find myself."

now onto winter week 7
(we're over half way through winter!)
the word for this week (february 2-8) is slumber.
