strength is not developed without resistance. the words on a local quote sign says something to this effect and it keeps streaming through my mind (almost like an ear-worm, but i have a different one of those...an annoying teeny bopper song that says something about 'single girl swag').

i'm in pursuit of some strength, body mind spirit, so I find this a perfect reminder to welcome the resistance as a gift in each form it's presenting itself. even when it's me.
in the meantime, please, someone get a different song in my head . . .
