gearing up and making final preparations to welcome our first week of summer campers.
here on out . . . early mornings. polar bear swim. dining hall meals. squawking jays. cookies. campers. costumes*. counselors. new names. hello. good-bye. BBQ. four square. sunshine. sitting. meetings. play. laughter. tears. knock out. night games. crafts. snacks. creek walks. big swings. exploring. slipping away. solitude. listening. sharing. wondering. singing. roller skating. waiting. late nights. little sleep. intentional moments. a whirlwind.
here we go!
*the high heels are product of the amazing program closet full of costumes galore. however, they fit my middle girl and with her love for neon (note the leg warmers, 100% not costume) i have a feeling it won't be long and she'll be asking to wear them out. as i said earlier this week, i'm thankful apron strings have many threads & there is a little more time for me to come to terms with these independently walking out the door.
i thought that was elli! :) missing camp. missing you. i love you. enjoy every moment of it!
