solstice to solstice [summer.4-13 & prompt s.5-13]

for the past several years a majority of the camp summer staff have run/jogged/walked/skipped the wharf to wharf race together. each year we have matching tank tops. blue western ones, grey mustache ones, black "rooted" ones, and more. this summers theme is freedom. our tank tops were designed and thrown on white then this past weekend we had the opportunity to individually tie dye with an array of colors. by the looks of these photos, my family seems to have been on a similar color scheme with the turquoise, magenta and moss green. we will run this weekend the five of us together (along with any other staff members who want to take it on the slower side). phoenix has never run, we've only carried her along or she's opted out. last summer ocean and elli both ran with me, jogging just about the whole thing, abandoning shoes by mile two. we go this year with no expectations (or shoes).
