our day

getting back into a groove of some sort. laundry and dishes, of course. sweeping and tiding up. finishing up a chapter book and starting the next over lunch with the littles. my daughters so sweet. . . one in kitty cat heaven (see our photos over on flickr. . . www.flickr.com/photos/the-mer-family/), one always in an leotard and shorts, and one picking her nose to fall asleep. she eats it too. the sun is peeking through the trees with wind swaying the huge branches. put a new microwave on our countertop. . . haven't had one of those for years. made fresh clementine juice with the littlest little while the others drew dorothy, nick chopper, ozma, and the scarecrow. two soups to throw together and a fire to start. this is our day.
