she turned 7 today. a spunky, sensitive, sincere sweetheart. she adds so much joy to my life!! this girl is truly incredible. a good friend, so faithful, a peacemaker, sacrificial, silly, creative.
i remember clear as crystal the day she was born. walking to the neighborhood park called wilshire. sitting on the picnic table all huge and pregnant watching eric and ocean play in the sand circles...other parents asking when i was due and calming telling them i was in labor, "right now actually..."
her birth was the most amazing experience i have ever had....physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually....absolutely amazing. only quiet whispers from those in the room anticipating her arrival....it was a stillness, time literally stood still....it was just her, me and God...Him giving this treasure to be under my care, yet so clearing speaking to me that she belonged to Him...each day of her life from that moment on. she is His... under His blanket of protection.
peace...peace...peace is this child. a beautiful radiant light. a miraculous creation. she sparkles... like that sun that pierces through the deep ocean water... gleaming... showing all the little bubbles....do you know that radiant light?? she is this in our lives, friends, family and even strangers might stop her in the store and say, " she seems to have such a glow, there is just something about her.!?"
she is my sweet ellibella skye, my little moonface....treasure to my soul.happy birthday buttercup. you are so loved.
