2. the 'school' year is done our lives don't change
it is hard for people to understand.
3. a wood tick is found on one of us every other day, at least, if not more.
4. elli wants a monkey for her birthday. my sewing machine isn't available. don't know how i'm going to pull this one off....but i hope to transform the purl rabbit into a purl monkey.
5. we are so happy the camp pool is open and heated.
i see us there e v e r y d a y.
6. couch to 5k is starting up again. i'll begin at week 4 as to not pressure myself but simply enjoy. i loved doing that program 3 years ago. i still run a little, but i think it will be fun again to start small and move it up.
7. knitting is happening slowly one stitch at a time.
a vest for a friends babe.
this summer top for miss fantastic.
and swiss cheese scarf for myself.
8. looking forward to summer knitting for nest. if you live near us and would like to join in this project, we could mail our handmade warmth bringers together.... let me know....we call ourselves the knit-along-gang. [ocean came up with that, remember the 'get-along-gang'?
she was inspired by their cooperation and her desire to help others... all are welcome and i could come up with an easy pattern for beginners so all have something to offer].
9. that's all i've got. time to take the dog out for a walk.
my boys ask again and again when the school year is over — because then their school-attending friends will be available to play again :^)
ReplyDeleteI would love to join the nest knitting. I wanted to make something last year but somehow never got around to it. do you know of any good knitting books for a beginner knitter hoping to become more than a beginner?
ReplyDeleteOooh - that vest for Park is just the sweetest little thing! I know he and his mama will love it! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I would love to participate in this too! Fill me in more...or I'll just look more into it! Also, have you been doing the couch to 5k?? We haven't run together in awhile...
