from the prairie don't ya know

the first tuesday of each month we visit a local farm for a home school day with friends. we get to do all sorts of good stuff. i've shared about it here before (somewhere...now i see why tags would have come in handy from the beginning). our group changed dates and made our may farm day the second tuesday of the month. i forgot. we made plans with friends who are farmers instead. the farmers daughter came over to play and brought us berries. best in the county don't ya know. yah sure you betcha!

(said in the thickest minnesota accent i can muster just to drive my girls and their friends wacko)

the said accent has been coming out a lot lately. it drives me a bit wacko, but i also find it endearing. minnesota's been on my mind. something pulling me close to my roots. even just yesterday i went to work minnesota style: red plaid flannel, moosehide moccasins, uniform natural scarf and a darn good work ethic.
