when we laughed & cried within no time at all out in public.

when for but 5 minutes or less there was sweet time spent with c, e & e.

when she giggled out loud reading to herself.

ella riding on my back and smiling and tucking in.

when we realized they were downing the big tree & we could watch.


the quiet of winding the next skein, whirring & looking out the window.

when we fought over who would stoke the fire because we were all just too cozy.
