we sat for less than three minutes by the percolating fire before the log burned his hand as he reached to flip it. after prompting 'hot' as the word for this past week, i envisioned basking in the sun by the pool too hot for much else, but this week brought a chill to the air. there was hot coffee & hot tea. hot flames as we sat on the back deck warming ourselves by the fire, summoning our eyelids to keep open.
. . . . . . . . . .
this week (june 28-july 4) the word is refresh.
