11 years today with my best friend...through the good, the bad, and the ugly. i truly wouldn't want to experience any one of those with anyone else.
i don't know why i got only a photo of our feet today?! but that's it. we had another 'normal' day. i don't think we will really celebrate, but tomorrow we hope to take some family time and just be together the 5 of us. it is a crazy time of our year...the next couple weeks hold some pretty heavy stuff in our lives....basically a lot of the ugly and bad, so i hope we are able to remember and keep in the fore front of our minds so much of the good that is in our lives...for example that steady, consistent, sometimes automatic love we hold for each other. the good won't cover the bad, or erase the ugly, but will hopefully help us cope, grow and continue to heal in a healthy, kind, respectful, loving way....together.
hey! it was our anniversary today, too! 16 years for us. and i, too can't imagine going through all we have been through with anyone else.

wow! we have a lot of random things in common. i love it. congratulations to you as well...16 years! thanks for your thoughts and prayers...i am very excited to have them in our neck of the woods...it's a sweet anticipation.
