i've been meaning to share this. i found and tried this on while out helping my mom pack and sort. we needed a silly break. i also tried on my old bridesmaid dress from my oldest brothers wedding. oh my.
I think you pull it off quite nicely, Sarah. I think you should wear it when you come to Portland. I'll let you tootle around on my adult trike (that Shawn says I'm not allowed to get, by the way) while wearing it. You'd totally fit in.(: Seriously, I commend you on your modest style-no Madonna influence on that dress (however, your date may have been a tad disappointed).
