my baby.

lost her fifth tooth.

leads us on big hikes.

lives with joy on her lips and a glimmer in her eye.

speaks "i love you", signs "i love you" & chants to her parents "kiss on the lips!"

holds her friends hand, waits for others, takes adventure in stride, likes to stick close, is willing to wander, can be still, giggles a lot, takes time to wake up, talks first thing in the morning, will snuggle back to sleep, keeps us warm, contains a brilliant imagination, fake burps, draws amazing people, helps in the kitchen every chance she gets, love her animals, admires her big sisters, reminds us to really live. she's growing up faster than i thought & if i could press the pause button i would in a heartbeat, but i can't. tomorrow holds another wonder & another laugh.

but today is a gift.

a gift.

i will handle it with great care.

i will keep perspective.

i will laugh.

i will kiss on the lips.

i will invite. i will wander.

i will look.

i will watch.

i will wait.

i will move slow.

i will sit longer.
