a little something blue for someone getting hitched in just a few short days!
(16.5 i believe is the count as of today!!)

the pattern is the lida from quince & co. i made this shawl for me this past fall out of their linen called sparrow. then, i followed the pattern exact; now, i left out the cables. i really wanted her wedding shawl to be airy without being too lacy, antique, or old so to speak...not that with the cables it feels that way, i don't think it does. i wanted hers to be even more simple and sweet with a clean look. something i felt the slight cables would distract from. i absolutely adore the outcome and can only hope she loves it as much as i do. this may be my favorite thing i've ever knit.

the yarn is finch in river knit on US 6 needles. just under 3 skeins were used.
