solstice to solstice [spring. 3-13. rise]

we went to the sea.

this place, commonly like a lake, had risen up.

all over town were record breaking waves.

i didn't want to go on the beach. the waves were breaking off shore, on shore and every where in between. it was powerful and beautiful and amazing. i fought the fear i felt inside. looking at the unusual ocean i still saw it's consistency so didn't keep my girls from running down to the beach. they didn't question this full mighty moment. they jumped in with both feet.

they always jump in with both feet.

thursdays are full long days. i rise early to have a little quiet before zip zap zooming my sleepy children out the door. sometimes thursday feels daunting. sometimes we (and when i say 'we' i mostly me 'i') rise to the occasion and jump in with both feet.
