snapshots from the first part of our trip.
the part where the mister is with us.

i tried and tried not to over pack, but alas, i did.
coming home i only had a small bit of dirty laundry.
yes, i wore the same thing over and over...and over.
annual hot air balloon sighting.
a half-way'ish marker of sorts.
waking up in central oregon. the golden sunlight pouring in.
(thank you iris for sharing your bedroom.)
the mister and i took off for an over-night in the city to celebrate friends tying the knot. the drive from central oregon to the city was beautiful. mountains, lakes, rivers and trees.
the gluten free bakery we wanted to visit was closed on sunday, so we opted for brunch at the tin shed. the wait was worth it. yum.
after a perfect and personal union we celebrated their life together with a reception over at irving street kitchen. delicious and lovely spot.
when we have the opportunity to visit our old stomping grounds (pdx) we always try to stay in our old neighborhood. the kennedy school our first choice. this is the pool our first born learned to swim and the first pool we brought our second born to. just two weeks after birth she was snug in her car seat, tucked under the leaves as we soaked and (little ocean) splashed. when we lived here, if you lived within a 10 block radius you could soak for free. we'd visit at least 3 times a week. bliss.
we had the pool to ourselves all morning. more bliss.
then we drove to the airport, said good-bye and i took off back through the mountains, past the lakes, rivers and trees to pick up my girls and head out to the lake for a week of camping.
obviously i have never been to this place, but you are the second person of my beloved fiends who has shot this pool in the last month. miss andrea (girlhula) and her hubs just soaked there. and i was mesmerized by her shot of her mister in this dreamy space. and now here you are with yours. looks and sounds amazing!
