we're back! after a full week camping with friends and just the four of us, after an overnight in a city with my mister celebrating a the union of dear friends, after a weekend in central oregon with four favorite friends catching up and after driving driving driving.

this was our view for most our get-away. i can't wait to sift through all the photos taken & share! in the mean time pop on over to shutter sisters where today i had the privilege of sharing on 'summer reading'! where has your reading taken you thus far this summer?

summer is not over...which brings me to the solstice to solstice project. last week was gather and though i knew i wouldn't be able to share here on thursday our gathering, i did neglect to share the next prompt. in hindsight i should have shared both... i thought about trying to get it out here via my iphone but i had no idea what it was and i left my computer at home (where it should be when camping) so i had no way of looking it up either. anyway, this week's prompt is water !

it's time here to do laundry and get things aired out.
