perhaps it was the underlying word 'simplicity' from this project calling to me all week that spurred on the quest to get back to the basics in my life. as i worked on that internally (where do i start?) and i looked around outside of me (see the window sill by my bed, photo above) simplicity is within reach. from one simple stitch on a very basic triangle shawl, to another knot on a friendship bracelet, to bagging up one more t-shirt or organizing our stop for produce during farmers days/hours and working together with my mister to make it happen (we have become a one car family due to auto trouble). considering where we live (the boonies) and all the driving we do, it's been surprisingly...simple.
