we are hunkering down in the middle of a storm. we started preparing yesterday stacking wood close to home and getting out the candles. we awoke last night to a live power line snapping, buzzing and blazing past our window (yikes). we already have more rain than we've had in quite sometime and the wind is howling. i'll hopefully be able to share quiet, warm and cozy photos, for now the computer battery will be saved for later sanity (i'm thinking if the power is out for days and days.....i guess the longest it's been out up here has been 2 weeks, but we haven't experienced that yet, we'll see, it may just be a couple hours. i am hoping to strike a balance somewhere in there-the days and days balance).
