slumber (party) haiku collection

laughing and joking
past dark o’clock we titter
time quickly slips by

draw closer in now
howls fade by starlight sky
lights out deep breath doze

slumber party morn
dreaming spooning snoring loud
sleeping in til ten

off the bed they push

i slip out through the cracked door

time alone with tea

the laughter starts up

memories of the night before

slumber party daze

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

i'm feeling the days get longer, light lasting until the next hour.
