i'll hold on so tight. then, gently set you down because each day you grow & who you are is so wonderful. every day adding to that wonder.
i will be your safe harbor, savoring every minute, until you are ready to throw off your bowlines.
how many tears can one person cry from a blog post? too many to count. i am going to pass on solstice to solstice this week and say, i savor you.

this brought tears to my eyes. it made me think of Emrie & how she'll always be so little to me. i can't even fathom the thought of letting go.
